Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Villa Kaya, overlooking the turquoise waters of BBC Beach in Grenada, this exclusive pop-up experience blended beauty, culture, and education in a truly unforgettable setting.
During my time on the island, I provided personalized curly hair services and hosted intimate 1:1 hands-on training sessions for stylists, sharing advanced cutting, styling, and curl education techniques designed to help professionals confidently care for textured hair.
A highlight of the experience was collaborating with Grenadian influencer Shanell Khan, whose passion for natural hair care and island traditions brought a unique perspective to the journey. Together, we explored how locally sourced ingredients such as hibiscus and aloe vera have long been used to naturally cleanse, nourish, and deeply hydrate the hair. Through this cultural exchange, we celebrated the beauty of embracing natural texture while honoring the rich traditions and ingredients found throughout the Caribbean.
More than a pop-up, this experience was a celebration of community, education, and empowerment—bringing together modern curl expertise with the warmth and culture of Grenada. Hosting at Villa Kaya created the perfect environment to connect with women, share knowledge, and inspire confidence through texture.

I had the opportunity to take the stage and transform two models, demonstrating the power of shape in enhancing natural texture and personal style. It was also an amazing space to connect with local, Caribbean, and international influencers, all united by a shared passion for beauty and self-expression.

Clients traveled in specifically for the experience, bringing their trust and allowing my expertise to elevate their look to a whole new level. The result was a collection of refined, confidence-boosting transformations in the heart of SoHo.

June 2025’s New Jersey Pop-Up delivered a stunning range of transformations—from chic pixies to seamless curl and cut corrections that brought curls back to life. The diversity of looks and textures made this event a standout moment.
